Carlos Orlando - age 35 - Albuquerque Romero

Carlos Orlando Romero, age 35, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Carlos was preceded in death by his infant son, Angel Carlos Romero; maternal grandparents, Juan A and Manuelita Ulibarri; and paternal grandparents, George and Sally Romero. Mr. Romero is survived by his parents, Eloy and Jane Romero; fiancée, Jackie Martinez; children, Carlos Jr., Delilah Rain and Xavier Juan Romero; and brother, Juan Romero, as well as many uncles, aunts cousins and friends. Carlos was a hard worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his children. He loved to weld and loved his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his children, family and friend. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at La Lgiesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Española, serving as pallbearers Carlos Romero Jr., Joe Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, Albert Vigil, Jonathan Lucier, and Aaron Garcia, honorary pallbearers Juan, Delilah, Xavier, and Angel Romero. The family of Carlos Orlando Romero has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory of the Espanola Valley.\r\n
