CAMILLE ANN LOVATO , 43, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Dixon, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Max and Carlota Sanchez; paternal grandparents, Juan and Amelia Lovato; uncles, Alfonso, Emilio, Robert Sanchez and Palemon Lovato; aunts, Frances Lopez, Mabel Chavez, Alice Martinez and many other loving relatives. Camille worked at Wackenhat Security Services in her early career and most recently employed by PNM Resources in Albuquerque where she was a group supply chain manager. Camille attended Dixon Elementary School and graduated from Española Valley High School. She received her degree from the University of New Mexico in Communications and Journalism. She then went on to get her MBA from Webster university. She was co-chair at Young Leaders Society with United Way of Central New Mexico. She was also a big supporter of the Animal Humane Society. In 2017, she was selected to participate in a core program involving leaders from around the state. She was one of 45 people from around the state who were selected. Ms. Lovato is survived by her parents, Juan and Evelyn Lovato of Dixon; brother, John Marco Lovato (Lisa); nephews, Ethan and Mason Lovato all of Santa Fe; aunts and uncles, Norena Ortiz (Don) of Rio Rancho, Nora Rodgers of Rio Rancho, Virginia Griego (Romolo) of Dixon, Edna Mascareñas of Albuquerque, Dila Sanchez and Ruben Lovato (Jane) and many close relatives and friends. A Memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Dixon. The following serving as pallbearers, Margaret Romero, Lisa Sisneros, Sandra Ortiz, Linda Ortiz, Terry Wood and Ethan Lovato. The family of Camille Ann Lovato has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
