CALVIN C. LONGMIRE, 93, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Erika Longmire; parents, Henry and Flossie Longmire. He served in World War 2 in Munich Germany. He worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory for over 30 years. After retirement he and his wife Erika became world travelers. They loved to travel in their RV to be able to stop to fish and camp, and they loved skiing. Angie Padilla would like thank Debbie Storms, Deena Streit, Sandy Cremer, Bonnie Clevenger, Lindsay Baca, April Cranmore, Dr. Bridge and Dr. Ahmad, all of the members of the White Rock Fire Department. His special friend and colleague Darlene Hoffman, and also his very dear and close neighbors, Kay and Stuart Bloom. He also wanted to give Angie Padilla a very very special Thank You for all of her hard work and dedication to him and his lovely wife Erika for granting their wish of being able to be at home and go to the Lord in comfort and peace in the privacy of their own home. There will be no services held for Mr. Longmire. The family of Calvin C.
