Bobby Age - 62 - Española/Abiquiu Lopez

Bobby Lopez, 62, a resident of Española formerly of Abiquiu passed away on March 2, 2012. He was a finish carpenter while actively involved as a general contractor. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping but most of all spending time with his family at gatherings and functions. Bobby was a generous man with a huge heart whom he shared with all. His passion of playing his guitar and harmonica was his favorite past time. His smile and contagious laugh will be missed by all. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Orsinia Lopez; bother, Benny Lopez. Bobby is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lydia Gonzales; children: Yvonne Baros and husband Jake, Amie Lopez, Tomas Lopez and wife Monica; step-children: Wil Mares and wife Gidget, Cindy Tyler and husband John, Gary Gonzales and wife Trish; grandchildren: Robert Baros, Alex and CJ Lopez-Valdez, Tasha Quintana-Lopez and Tomas Lopez; step-grandchildren: Kristen Mares, Shayna and AJ Tyler, Michael Gonzales and Stephanie Marquez; aunts/uncles: Archie and Isabel War, Isauro and Ester Madrid, Cruz and Mary Madrid, Bernardo and Ida Archuleta; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Robert Baros, Pete Madrid, Jimmy Quintana, Archie War Jr., Gary Gonzales, Victor Sanchez, Richard Martinez and Andy Martinez; honorary pallbearers: grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Ez Madrid, Jake Baros, Monica Quintana-Lopez, Trish Gonzales, John and Cindy Tyler, Gidget Mares, Anabelle War, Joseph Gonzales, Molly and Johnny Martinez, Eric and Darin Lopez, Elias, Fernando and Daniel Ray War, Steve Lopez, Michelle Quintana, Presceilla Valdez, Juan Duran, Mario Abeyta, Luterio Garcia, Manuel Quintana Sr. and Jr., Phil Diaz, Donny Rodriguez, Elmer Salazar, Elirray Trujillo, Gilbert Romero, Frank Martinez, Bridget and Sandra Diaz, Brian Haas, Jim Quintana, Jr., Chris Madrid and Jimmy Sandoval.
