Blanche Torrez, 90, a resident of Sile, NM, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Torrez; son, Carlos Paiz; and numerous other loved ones. She is survived by her children, Betty Gallegos (Desi), Joe Paiz (Shirley) both of Sile, NM, Ralph Paiz (Judith) of Santa Fe, Frieda Gastillo (Rudy) of Rio Rancho, Theresa De Mondragon (Kenneth) of Rio Rancho and Peter Torrez of Washington D.C.; 21 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Santa Barbara Catholic Church in Sile, NM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Barbara Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at the Santa Barbara Catholic Cemetery in Sile, NM.
