Billy Martin - Age 39 - Vadito - Valdez

BILLY MARTIN VALDEZ, 39, a resident of Vadito, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Juan de Jesus Valdez and Fedelina B. Valdez; maternal grandparents, Clorinda Cordova and Brigideo Cordova and sisters, Rosalie Cordova and Carmelita Valdez. Billy was an artist and loved fishing, cooking, and had a big collection of music, movies. For the past 20 years, he was the caretaker for his parents. Billy was the youngest of his family and was loved very much. He will be dearly missed. Mr. Valdez is survived by his parents, Octaviono J. and Adelina Valdez of Vadito; brothers and sisters, Josephine Galloway and husband Tony of Las Vegas, Nevada, Pablo O. Valdez and wife Anna M. of Santa Fe, Sharon Rendon and husband Michael of Velarde, Alfonso D. Valdez and wife Jennie of Rio Lucio, Beatrice Romero and husband Roland of Lower Ojitos, Herbert Valdez of Vadito, Anthony J. Valdez of Vadito, Isabel Valdez and companion Mike Eichwald of Los Lunas, Angela Sanchez of Albuquerque and Anna Rose Sudomerski and husband Douglas of South Carolina; God-parents, Steve and Julie Valdez of Vadito; close cousins, Antonio Valdez and Wayne Valdez and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and other extended relatives and beloved friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco.
