Beverly M. Trujillo, 69, a resident of El Duende passed away suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2010. Beverly loved to pray the rosary and watch the Mass on EWTN. She was a great cook. She was also a great mother to her 3 boys. She loved all her family. Beverly was preceded in death by her maternal grand-parents who raised her; Porfirio Lovato and Antonia Lovato; parents, Jose Amadeo and Estella Salazar; father and mother-in-law, Lorenzo and Josefina Trujillo; brothers-in-law, Arturo Trujillo, Lorenzo Trujillo Jr. She is survived by her husband Candido Trujillo of El Duende; sons: Candido Trujillo Jr. of El Duende, Johnny C. Trujillo of Española, Ruben Trujillo of El Duende; grandchildren: Cassandra Trujillo, Johnny C. Trujillo Jr., and Matthew Trujillo; sisters: Virginia Romero and husband Fermin of Los Alamos, Angela Honaberger and husband Danny of Alcalde; brother: Felix Salazar of Santa Fe; brothers and sisters-in-laws: Henry Trujillo, Isabelle Trujillo, Joe A. Trujillo, Jenny Chavez, Lucy Bustos and Horace Bustos. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at the DeVargas Funeral Homes & Crematory. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez with the burial to follow at the San Jose Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Fermin Romero Sr., Fermin Romero Jr., Benny Fresquez, Johnny C. Trujillo Jr., Matthew Trujillo and Phil Valdez. The family of Beverly Trujillo has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
