Beverly Manzanares

BEVERLY MANZANARES, 40, a resident of Medanales, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beatrice Manzanares; uncles, Juan and Horacio Manzanares Jr.; and father, Carlos Martinez. Beverly adored her children, Destiny and Josh, they were her pride and joy. She was the kindest person she would open her heart to anyone in need. She adored her Godson, Carlos Martinez and his brother Angelo Atencio. Beverly is survived by her children, Destiny Martinez (Matthew), and Josh Martinez (Leticia); grandfather who raised her, Horacio Manzanares of Medanales; parents, Geraldine and Johnny Martinez of Chimayo; brother, Johnny Martinez (Clarinda); nephew, Johnny Martinez III (her Love bug); father of her children, Jerome Martinez; step-brothers and sisters, Marmi Martinez, Crystal and Joey Sanchez and Carlos and Vanessa Martinez;  maternal uncles and aunts whom she considered as brothers and sisters, David and Irene Manzanares, Lucy Manzanares, Irene and Julian Garcia, Carol and Michael Martinez, Eva Sanchez, Rose Martinez Joseph Manzanares and Yolanda, and Nadine Martinez; special cousins, Pete Sanchez, David Manzanares Jr., and many cousins whom she loved dearly. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales, with a burial to follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as honorary pallbearers are Johnny Martinez Jr., Pete Sanchez, Dave Manzanares Jr., Adrian Martinez, Justin Montoya, and Benjie Martinez.
