Betty Rivera

BETTY L. RIVERA, 50, a resident of Bernalillo and Ojo Caliente, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Florenia Rivera; brothers, Dennis and Joseph Rivera; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Teresina Duran, paternal grandparents, Alberto and Filomena Rivera. Betty loved arts & Crafts, she loved to draw, music, gardening, singing and loved to ride motorcycles. She loved spending time with her grandchildren cooking, reading, sports, and enjoyed the outdoors. Betty is survived by her children, Amanda Garcia (Joseph), Tanya Donahue (Daniel Garcia), Fernando Flores (Azhanee), Angelica Guevara (Patrick), Alec Guevara-Rivera; grandchildren, Lilliana Garcia, Lucas Garcia, Kaleb Garcia, Analeigha Archibeque; father, Gilbert Rivera; brothers, Gilbert Rivera Jr. (Lorilynn), Anthony Rivera, Martin Rivera (Loretta), sisters, Henrietta Larkin, Elizabeth Olguin (Roger), Lynn Rivera, Theresa Martinez (Carlos); Godson, Jacob Martinez and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Serving the family as pallbearers, Alec Guevara-Rivera, Fernando Flores, and Jacob Martinez. The family of Betty L.
