Bertha Sandoval

BERTHA SANDOVAL, 79, a resident of Arroyo Seco and formerly of Cordova, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, peacefully with her family by her side. Bertha had a love for dancing, traveling and all her children and grandchildren. She was a LANL retiree. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Adelina Trujillo; brothers, Roberto and Genaro Trujillo; grandmother, Leonires Montoya; tia, Delia Martinez; mother and father-in-law, Israel and Cordelia Sandoval; brothers and sisters in-law, Damian and Frances Sandoval, Ruben and Maria Sandoval, and Onivas and Ruby Sandoval; nephew, Robert Sandoval. Mrs. Sandoval is survived by her husband, Zebedeo; sons, Arnold Sandoval (Sally), Eli Sandoval (Madeline) and Vince Sandoval and his daughter, Naveah; daughters, Marlene Santillan (David), Karla Chacon (Joseph); grandchildren, Eilene Gonzales (Rocky), Gia Padilla, Arnold Jose Sandoval (Ally), Kyle Sandoval (Rheanna), JoJo Chacon (Latisha) and Jenessa Chacon; great-grandchildren, Eli Jr., Lilly, Xavier, Rocky Jr., Esperanza, Marcelino, Nicholas, Isaiah, Gigi and Khareena; brothers and sisters, Merlin Trujillo (Lita) & family, Bedelio Trujillo (Sylvia) & family, Lillian Trujillo (Leroy) & family, Louise Vigil (Tony) & family, Maria Romero (Joe) & family and Lucille Romero & family; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosina Trujillo & family, Benina Martinez & family, Olivama Sandoval & family, Elaine Sandoval & family, Henry Sandoval (Joyce) & family, Danny Tidwell (Yvonne) & family and Pete Sandoval (Nancy) & family; special nieces and nephew, Geraldine, Floraida, Sherrie and Adrian and many nieces, nephews who loved her dearly. Public visitation will begin on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola. Burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Arnold Jose, Kyle, JoJo, Jenessa, Neveah, Eilene and Gia. Honorary pallbearers named will be the rest of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
