Bernie Archuleta III

d. December 6, 2018

Bernie A. Archuleta III, 50, a resident of Fairview, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Bernie O. Archuleta; paternal grandparents, Bernabe and Delfina Archuleta; maternal grandparents, Harold and Charlene Hartell. Bernie loved being outdoors enjoying nature, snowmobiling and working on cars. His favorite pastime was being with his beloved dogs and enjoying the simple life. He leaves behind his precious daughter Kayla (Seth) Lawson, his grandchildren Keirra and Carter, his sister Stefani (Brandon) Foster, his nephew Adam, his niece Bella, his brothers, Jacob and Stevie, his mother Edie (Steve) Morton, and many other relatives and close friends. He was deeply loved. We are all very proud of his valiant struggle to fight against the illness that eventually took his life.  We are also proud because he, like his father before him, participated in studies providing information that may eventually help others overcome his affliction.  We are very happy that he is finally able to rest in peace and comfort in the arms of his Lord and Savior. The family requests that In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bernie's name to Nora's Home, a haven for transplant patients and their families.  Information is available at:  https://norashome.org/.
