Bernadette Romero

Bernadette “Ba” Romero, age 58, passed away suddenly on March 9th, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.

Bernadette will be missed dearly and will be remembered for her generous, kind heart and amazing baking and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her father Amado “Sonny” Romero; brother Gabriel Romero; sister-in-law Carol Romero; maternal grandparents Lorenzo Baros and Reyita Baros; paternal grandparents Amado and Eufemia Romero; godmother Sophie Chavez; aunts and uncles, including Tane and Loretta Romero, Mary Madore, Tillie Lackey, and Christie Romero; cousins John Romero and Dion Romero; and many other family and friends. The Romero family would like to express our greatest appreciation to all who have reached out, especially Hazel Romero, who has always helped us during our difficult times.

She is survived by her mother Ramona Romero; her children Daniel Romero (Monique) and Leticia Vigil (Richard); her grandchildren Trinity and Nathilia; her brother Chris Romero (Angelica) and sister Cassandra Kawka (Michael); her nieces and nephews including Patrick Romero, Arianna Lundquist (Grant), Gabriel Romero, Dominique

Gonzales (Garett), Daniel Romero, and Natasha Romero (Anthony); her great nieces and nephews including Dominic, Nevaeh, Kehlani, Charlotte, Sophia, and Sadie; her aunt Judy Romero; and many other family and friends.
