Benjamin Abeyta

Benjamin Seth Abeyta, 24, a resident of Alcalde passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Eddie J. Abeyta. He loved spending time surrounded by family and friends. Benjamin is survived by his parents Eddie Roy and GeriAnne Abeyta; paternal grandmother, Kate Abeyta; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Judy Townsend; siblings, Thomas Abeyta, Rachel Abeyta and Samuel Abeyta; his uncle Darroll Abeyta and wife Brenda of Espanola; uncle Danny Abeyta and wife RaeLynn of Penasco; aunt Darlene Haffner and husband Don of Boulder City, NV; aunt, Melody Ballew and husband Mark of Billings, MT and uncle, Stuart Townsend of Billings, MT.  and numerous cousins and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Pedro Cemetery in Peñasco. Serving the family as Pallbearers will be Thomas Abeyta, Samuel Abeyta, Danny Abeyta, Daniel Abeyta, Jaclyn Abeyta and Darroll Abeyta. The family of Benjamin S.
