Bengie Madrid

Bengie R. Madrid, age 61, a resident of Medanales, NM, was born on October 11, 1962, passed away on November 24, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

Bengie is preceded in death by his mother Antonia Madrid, grandfather Severo Archuleta, brothers Donald Archuleta, Jose Toby Gonzales, Lee Madrid and other nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bengie is survived by his brother Emilio Gonzales of Medanales, who took care of him the last 23 years, sisters-in-law Helen Archuleta of Rio Chama and Elizida Gonzales of Albuquerque, Godmother Socorro Herrera, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

A special thank you to Tommy and Michael Martinez, also of Medanales, who assisted in Bengie’s care when needed.

A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10:30 am at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales, NM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am.
