BENEDICT ‘BEN’ LADABOUR, 75, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his beloved Marjorie Meyers; parents, Robert and Rufina Ladabour; aunt, Minga and uncle, Connie. Ben was a kind and gentle man. He enjoyed fishing and playing baseball. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Ben is survived by his children, Doug Metford of Los Alamos, Benji Ladabour (Diane) of Fairfield Maine, Lori Seitz (Jerry) of Los Alamos, Benedict “BJ” Ladabour (Laura) of Puyallup WA, Angela Ladabour of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren and 7 ½ great-grandchildren and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers family asks to donate to Cancer Research or charity of your choice. A wake service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at Tesuque Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at the Tesuque Pueblo. Family members serving as pallbearers will be Mark, Paul, Andrew, Nate, Stevie and Mathew.
