BENARDINO “BEN” ARCHIBEQUE, 30, a resident of Brazos, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 following an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Ann Archibeque; maternal grandmother, Teresa Baker and paternal grandfather, Robert Archibeque. Ben was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He gave his unconditional love to all whom he loved. Ben Archibeque is survived by his children, Mya and Matthew; mother, Laurel and husband Orlando; Wife Jamie Johnson; father, Robert “Mark” Archibeque and wife Lisa; sisters, Melissa Valdez and husband Albino, Desiree Flores and husband Lance, Hannah Archibeque, Kelli Keeswood and husband Allister and Martina Martinez; brothers, Robert “Marky” Archibeque and wife Stevie, Dominic Archibeque and companion Nicole and Marcos Archibeque; maternal grandfather, Clyde Baker; paternal grandmother, Sarah Archibeque; nephew/God-son, Jayden Valdez; nieces and nephews, Dylan Valdez, Alycia, Lukus, Robert III, Elias, Reyes, Amayah, Isiah, Gabriel, and Dylan Archibeque, and Reannyn and Dannica Flores, Julias, Alexander and Jayden Keeswood, and Maricella Vigil, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Los Ojos Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Robert Jr., Marcos, Larry, and Lukus Archibeque, Orlando Martinez, Felix Martinez, Chano Talamante, Matthew Martinez, Jayden, Dylan and Albino Valdez. The family of Benardino “Ben” Archibeque has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
