Beatrice M. - Medanales Manzanares

Beatrice M. Manzanares, a resident of Medanales, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her sons, Horacio Jr. and Juan Manzanares; parents, Claudio and Manuelita Espinoza; in-laws, Enrique and Estephanita Manzanares; granddaughter, Veronica Martinez. Beatrice is survived by her husband of 62 years, Horacio Manzanares; children, David Manzanares and wife Irene, Lucy Manzanares, Geraldine Martinez and husband Johnny, Irene Garcia and husband Julian, Carol Martinez and husband Michael, Eva Sanchez, Rose Martinez and Companion Medardo, Joseph Manzanares and wife Yolanda, and Nadine Martinez; a grand-daughter raised by her Beverly Manzanares; brother, Jose and wife Genoveva Espinoza; 27 grand-children, and 27 great-grandchildren. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu, with a burial to follow at the Medanales Catholic Cemetery in Medanales, with the following serving as pallbearers, Tammy Valdez, Pamela Martinez, Stephanie Sanchez, Amanda Manzanares, Jennifer Martinez, Vanessa Padilla, Ashley Manzanares, and Julie Garcia, honorary pallbearers named will be her remaining grandchildren. The family of Beatrice Manzanares has entrusted their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. \r\n
