Beatrice - Age 71 - Taos - Zamora -

BEATRICE MARIE ZAMORA, 71, a resident of Taos, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Veronica Perez; sister, Lourdes Frinkman and aunts, Gloria Segovia and Lucy Patterson. In her early years she was in the banking and financial industry, later she became a wonderful homemaker. Mrs. Zamora is survived by her husband, Gene Zamora of Taos; children, Rodney Zamora (Brenda) of Santa Fe, Michelle Abeyta (Nelson) and Brenda Zamora all of Taos; grandchildren, Nicole Abeyta (Jose) of Taos, Tanya Abeyta of Taos, Nathan Zamora (Megan) of Pojoaque and Nicholas Zamora of Pojoaque; great-grandchildren, Malyki and Brayden Jacquez of Taos and Eli Zamora of Pojoaque; step-grandson, Marcus Jacquez of Pojoaque; step-granddaughter, Danielle Pacheco; niece and nephew, Lauren Van Schilfgaarde of California and Tom Frinkman of Albuquerque; close friend of the family, Gill Vigil and many other family members from Santa Fe and California. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taos. The family of Beatrice Marie Zamora has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
