Barney C. Romero, 50, a resident of Ojo Sarco passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carpio M. Romero and Carmelita V. Romero; sister, Arabela Martinez and husband Pedro Abel Martinez; brothers: Tobias and Bobby Romero; sister, Edna Dominguez; brothers-in-law: Arthur, Louie, Ralph and Felix Martinez. Barney is survived by his wife, Vivian Romero of Ojo Sarco; brothers: Rodney Romero and companion Amy Chavez of Cordova, Ricky Romero and wife Debra of Truchas, Severiano Romero and wife Nelda of La Mesilla; sister, Janet Lopez and husband Eddie of Española; mother-in-law, Mary Martinez and husband Levi of Ojo Sarco; sister-in-law, Gloria Martinez and companion Isaac Chavez of Ojo Sarco; brothers-in-law: Dwayne Martinez of Ojo Sarco, Carlos Martinez and wife Lori of Ojo Sarco, Eloy Martinez and companion Sherri Treviño of Albuquerque, Albert Martinez and wife Angela of Santa Fe, Jake Martinez and companion Catherine of Taos; sisters-in-law: Petrita Romero and husband Arnold of Cordova, Eloisa Velasquez and husband Del of California, Flora Romero and husband Elmer of Silver City, NM; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives & friends.
