A golden heart has stopped beating, two shining eyes are at rest….

Aspen Newman, beloved daughter, sister, niece, and mother, 28, of Espanola, NM passed away on October 27, 2022. We will miss your beautiful smile and loving heart. May God hold you in His loving arms.

Aspen is preceded in death by Grandparents Federico and Celia Lovato, Billie DeLamater, Richard Newman, sister Naomie Newman and uncle Freddie Lovato.

She is survived by her son Ayden, mother Patricia Babich (Harold), Father Charles Newman (Laura), sister’s Mandi Demorest, Christina Newman, Brandi Newman, Billie Rapoza, brother Charles Rapoza Jr., uncle and Godparents Johnny & Antonette Lovato,  aunt and Godmother Mary Jane (Dennis) Martinez, uncle and aunts Manuel Lovato (Pauline), Mary Lou Lovato (Ronnie), Martha Herrera (Martin),  Anthony Lovato (Theresa), Cynthia Bustos (Rodney), Tim Thomas,  Paul Thomas and Cathy Knutson.  Numerous cousins whom she considered brothers and sisters.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all her cousins.

Rosary will be held on Saturday. November 12, 2022, at 8:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 8:30 am at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church. A Private Burial Service will take place at a later date. Reception will be announced during the services.
