Arturo Baca

Arturo (Artie) Baca, 55, a resident of El Rito, passed away unexpectedly on January 6th, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his father Ramon D. Baca, grandparents Frank and Felicita Sena, and grandmother Guadalupe Baca. Artie radiated such an amazing energy, that you could feel it the second he walked into the room, he had such a way of making people feel so happy. Artie was loved by all and his absence will be greatly felt by those who were lucky enough to know him. Arturo is survived by his son Anthony Chavez, mother Patricia Baca, siblings Richard Baca, Anna Marie Baca, and Phillip Baca; nieces and nephews Antoinette Garay, and Joseph Gurule; great niece and nephew Aubrie and Zachary Garay. Rosary will take place on January 18th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito with Memorial Mass to be held on January 19th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. also at the San Jaun Nepomuceno Catholic Church with burial to follow at the El Rito Cemetery.   The family of Arturo (Artie) Baca has entrusted their loved one to the caring staff of DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505-747-7477 www.devargasfuneral.com
