Armando B. - Age 61 - Hernandez - Madrid

ARMANDO B. MADRID, 61, a resident of Hernandez, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2013 following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Victorianna Madrid; brother, Alex Madrid and sister, Cleo Madrid. Armando was a lifelong mechanic who loved to recycle anything he could get his hands on. He was a hard worker who always kept busy and was always on the go, making new friends wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Madrid is survived by his wife, Mary Madrid of Hernandez; children, Armando A. Madrid and companion Victoria Martinez and Amanda Madrid and companion Bobby Salazar; brothers and sisters, Alfred Madrid and wife Tina, Lee Madrid and wife Irene, Toby Madrid and companion Jane, Harold Madrid and wife Edith, Velma Camargo and companion Martin Hernandez and Angie Herrera; sister-in-law, Ida Madrid; grandchildren, Steve Montoya and companion Maggie Archuleta, Samantha Salazar and companion Bobby Kowalczyk, Monique, Gabby and Angel Madrid, Shawn Martinez and Kim Montoya; great-grandchildren, Jennay Montoya and Audrianna, Angel Kowalczyk and Michelle Montoya; close friends, Jerry Medina and Mario Martinez; close nephew, Rudy Sandoval and other loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. Funeral Mass will held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez with burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery with a reception will follow the burial. The family of Armando B. Madrid has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
