April Tammy Martinez

She is preceded in death by her stepdad Johnny Trujillo. Grandparents, Mariquita Martinez of Chimayo, Paul and Anita Martinez of Dixon. Uncles: LeRoy, Escolastico, Jerry, Ricky of Chimayo, Rudy Martinez of Dixon. Aunts: Theresa Martinez, Lori Gallegos, Rose Martinez, and Cynthia Trujillo. Cousins: Shaun, Derick, Anthony, and Jerome Martinez. 

She is survived by her mother Darlene Trujillo, and her father Ricky Martinez (Anette). Her daughter Amara Vigil. Her siblings: Joseph Trujillo, Johnny Jr Trujillo (SueAnn), Ricky Martinez, Rosie Martinez (Alex), Vanessa Trujillo, Madelene Trujillo (Chris), Latisha Chacon (Joseph). Her grandfather Orlando Martinez. Lifelong companion, Matthew Vigil. Two special aunts who she was very close too: Lorraine Martinez (Ronnie), Orlinda Martinez (Rocky), Melissa Trujillo (Martin), Yvette Trujillo (Manuel), Sally Valdez (Larry), and Elena Arellano. Uncles: Paul Martinez (Beatrice) and Norman (Doris). 

April, or (Appa as her brother would call her) was a very loving and caring person with a heart of gold and never failed to put a smile on anyone she interacted with. She loved to cook and always prepared the best of any meal you could ask for. Dearest to her heart was her daughter Amara, whom she loved more than anyone else. She loved spending time with her family and would always be indulging in her favorite TV shows, which she could watch for hours. She loved her dogs Pepito, Oreo, and Precious. Sadly, she was called to be with the Lord however we know that she is smiling down and watching over us.
