Antonio (Tony) Maestas

Antonio (Tony) F Maestas a resident of Chili, NM was born June 13th, 1924 (96 years young). He went to be with the Lord November 4th, 2020. Tony loved his family, camping, fishing and always enjoyed visiting with family, friends, neighbors and his grandchildren. He had the best stories of his childhood.  He retired 30 years from LANL.  He was proceeded in death by his parents Pablo & Antonia Maestas, Wife of 70 years Luggie Maestas. Siblings: Andres, Gilbert, Simon, Gaspar, and Inez.  Grand children: Jonell Maestas, Darlene and Jonathan Manzanares, Angelica Ortigoza and Christopher Chilton. Tony is Survived by brothers Richard, Armando, Reyes, Margarito Maestas. Sisters Mary (Manuel) Herrera, Olivia Salazar and Nettie Vigil. Children: Johnny (Angie), Becky Abeyta (Bobby Vigil) Margie (Lorenzo)Morrison, Emily Ortigoza.  Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren.  Many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff from Professional Case Management and Amber Care. Celebration of life will be held later date due to Covid-19. The family of Antonio (Tony) F. Maestas has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
