Antonio Robert Martinez

Antonio Robert Martinez, 68, a resident of Youngsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 following a brief illness. Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Martinez; wife, Wanda Martinez; son, Nathaniel Martinez; brother, Julian Martinez and sister, Llian Yount. Antonio is survived by his children, Roberta Muniz, Beverly Garcia and Aaron Martinez; grandchildren, Jessica Martinez, Denise Lopez, Erika Amaya, Vincent Torrez, Anthony Garcia and Jonathan Martinez; his great-grandchildren; significant other, Phylis Salazar; siblings, Placido Martinez (Mary), Marcos Martinez (Anita), Esther Garcia (Gilbert), Tony Martinez (Judy) and Baltazar Martinez; Elizabeth Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews. Public visitation will take place on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a burial to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow the burial at the American Legion in Santa Fe at 1601 Berry Ave. Santa Fe, NM 87505.  Serving the family as pallbearers will be Anthony Garcia, Vincent Torrez, Tony Martinez Jr., Angelo Martinez, Armando Martinez, Joseph Garcia, and honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Martinez.    The family of Antonio Robert Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
