Antonio Torres

Antonio Torres, 74, a resident of Cordova, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 following a lengthy illness and peacefully surrounded by his loving and caring family. He was preceded in death by his father, Leopoldo Torres; maternal grandparents, Luciano and Sophia Vigil; paternal grandparents, Julian and Rafaelita Torres and brother-in-law, Luis Lito Montoya, Jr. Mr. Torres is survived by his mother, Cleotilde Torres; sisters, Vivian, Avenilde, and Rosella Montoya and Rita Vigil and husband Tim; brothers, Manuel, Verjilio, Senovio (Audrey) , Clarence, Laybe, David, Albert (Lorraine), Julian and Leroy; nephews and nieces, James (Stella), Victor (Anna), Matthew, Fabian (Kelly), Marvin (Crystal), Daniel (Loretta), Sophia, Tim Jr., Bethany, Virginia and Frankie, Victor Jr., Lucas, Chris, Noah, Caleb, Kylie, Mason, Ariana and Julias and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at the Cordova Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Julian, Fabian, Marvin and Daniel Torres and James and Victor Montoya. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of his nieces and nephews.
