Antonio I. Romero (Tony), age 66, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015, in Aurora, Colorado after a short illness surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his longtime partner Katherine (Annette) Gonzales; parents, Florencio and Mary L. Romero; stepmother, Mary A. Romero; grandparents, Catalino and Antonia Lopez; brother in law, Danny Landin; nephews, Gabriel Jaramillo and Isaiah Dominick. He is survived by his children, Tammy (Jerry) Tapia, Jon Paul Romero, Celina (Randy) Roybal; stepdaughter, Cassandra (Steven) Romero; grandchildren, Adrian and Jason Lujan, Javier and Alonzo Romero, Amber, Randy, Phillip and Damian Roybal, Damien, Aaron and Atreyo Romero; great-granddaughter, Lovly Martinez; brothers, Ruben (Annette) Romero, Orlando (Vivian) and Clyde Chavez; sisters, Anita (Orlando) Romero-Maez, Patricia Landin, Lorraine (Lawrence) Gurule, Irene Chavez as well as numerous other loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church in Santa Fe, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the San Isidro Catholic Church in Santa Fe, at 11:00 a.m.,with a burial to follow at the Agua Fria Cemetery.
