Antonio - Age 47 - El Rito - Manzanares

ANTONIO ANDRES MANZANARES, 47, a resident of El Rito, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. He was born on February 23, 1967 in Antonito, CO and was baptized in the oldest church of Colorado. He was born to the late Gavino and Maria Gallegos Manzanares. Mr. Manzanares is survived by his companion, Rosenda Manzanares; brothers, Sammy Sisneros, Leonard Manzanares, Herman Manzanares and wife Rita and Bernie Manzanares and companion Mary Jordan; sister, Vickie Martinez and husband Silviano; 2 nephews; 2 nieces; 8 grand-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Serving the family as pallbearers, Jerry V., Joseph V., Elmer M., Ralph, Jeff, Clyde, Johnny Gallegos and Johnny Ortiz. Public visitation will begin Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at the Placitas Cemetery in El Rito. The family requests donations be made to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory or the Manzanares family to help with funeral expenses.
