Anthony Praxedes Martinez, 21, a resident of Rio Chiquito passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Praxedes Anthony Martinez; uncle, Leonard Trujillo; maternal great-grandmothers: Filomena and Ignacita Trujillo; maternal great-grandfather: Felipe Trujillo; paternal great-grandmothers: Fedelina Valdez and Polinia Martinez; paternal great-grandfather, Daniel Martinez. Anthony had a big heart. He was such a sweet loving person. He made friends everywhere he went. Anthony was known for that beautiful smile of his. He was much loved by so many. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Anthony is survived by his mother, Judy Trujillo; brother, Aaron Martinez; maternal grandparents, Juan Carmen and Alice Trujillo; maternal great-grandfather, Salomon Trujillo; paternal grandparents: Daniel Martinez and Filomena Martinez; uncles: Michael Trujillo and wife Patricia, Eddie Trujillo and companion Jeanette, Jeff Martinez and Dennis Trujillo; aunts: Theresa Trujillo, Manuelita Brito and husband Larry, Diane Martinez and companion Don, Yvonne Quintana and husband Nathan; god-parents: Velma Dominguez and Rudy Vigil; cousins considered like sisters: Denise Trujillo and Ashley Gasca; special friends: Melissa Rodriguez, Janel Martinez and Gabby Rodriguez; numerous other loving great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, friends & family. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow Rio Chiquito Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Aaron Martinez, Rudy Trujillo, Denise Trujillo, Ashley Gasca, JJ Martinez and Leonard Trujillo.
