Born to Trinnidad Chacon, Predeceased by his maternal grandmother Deluvina Mascarenas, and paternal grandfather Antonio Mascarenas, his mother Trinnidad Chacon, stepfather Ross Chacon, brother in law Eugene Abeita, uncles Genaro, Thomas, and Pablo Mascarenas, aunts Carlota, Cora, and Socorro Gallegos, cousins Jimmy Vialpando, Theresa, Leroy, and Pauline Mascarenas, Debbie Casias, Chris and Stevie Martinez.

Tony is survived by his sisters Betty Valdez, Annie and husband Alfred Maes, brother Adrian Chacon and Vickie, Bernadette Casias who was like a sister to him, nephews Eugene and Shawn Abeita, nieces Diane Abeita and QueRencia Garcia, cousins Angie Vigil, Charlotte and Andy Casias, Joseph and Lora Gallegos, Dora Segura, Louisa and Anthony Padilla, Timothy Mascarenas and Yvonne Mascarenas, Vina Gallegos, Ashley Trujillo, Sophia Trujillo, Jamie Lopez and many close family and friends.

Public Visitation will be at 9:00 am with a Rosary at 10:30 am on Monday June 12, 2023 at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in San Juan, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at the San Pedro Cemetery in Chamita, NM.

Pallbearers will be Joe Roybal, Mark Mascarenas, Andres Padilla, Placido Montoya, Anthony Jr. Padilla, and Mike Chavez.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Carlitos Trujillo and Floyd Garcia.
