Anthony Ruiz

ANTHONY RUIZ, 61, a resident of Chimayo, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony “Titi” Ruiz, and his father Antonio “Tony” Ruiz.

Anthony was a jack of all trades; he was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed his northern New Mexico music and loved his mama’s cooking. Anthony is survived by his mother, his best friend, and love of his life Susie Ruiz, his sons Greg Naranjo Ruiz and Arthur Martinez. His Siblings, Michael Sherwood (Laverne), Bertha Sapcutt (Ron), Janet Archuleta (Steven), his nephews and nieces, Joshua and Brianna Vialpando, Sherrie and Miguel Lujan, Lavina Rose and Luann Sherwood, great nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Jaime Lynn, Kiley, Khloe, Landyn, Marissa, Larissa, Jessica, Adrianna, and Sienna, his special dog Chuckie. Aunts and Uncles Josie Coriz, Chavela Herrera, Mellie Methvin, Earl (Irene) Sherwood, Jesse (Lucy)Sherwood, Orlinda (Eurengico) Lopez, Alice Mondragon, Betty (Silas) Dominguez, and Dilia (Ray) Montoya.

A public viewing will be held at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am at The Rock Christian Fellowship, December 12, 2023. Private burial to happen at a later date.

Serving the family as pallbearers are Jason Montoya, Marty Sherwood, Miguel Lujan, Glen Lopez, Felipe Garcia and Manuel Bustos.
