Anthony Chacon

Anthony C. Chacon, 43, of Vallecitos, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his sister-in-law and surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Anthony was preceded in death by his twin brother Andrew; paternal grandparents, Juan Pedro and Adonelia Chacon of Cañon de Vallecitos;  maternal grandparents, Orlando Jaramillo of Pueblo, Colorado and Celina Jaramillo of Vallecitos.  Anthony is survived by his loving parents Aristeo and Eileen Chacon of Vallecitos; sister, Audra Chacon and companion Michael Campos of Ojo Caliente; brother, Adam Chacon and wife Therese of Espanola; nephews, Andrew Clavery and wife Kimberly and their son Jeremy Andrew of Ojo Caliente; Nicholas Maestas and companion Elisa and their daughter Brielle of Espanola; nieces, Lynette Maestas and son Korbyn of Espanola; and Desirae Lujan of Espanola; uncles and aunts include Timo and Cande Chacon of Cañon Plaza; Ben Chacon of Chamita; Bon Chacon of Iowa, Isidoro Chacon of Cañon Plaza; Tomas Chacon of California; and Teofilo and Annabelle Chacon of Pomona, California. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Anthony was always happy and could bring a smile to anyone’s face. He is a special angel now and will be greatly missed by his family. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the 7th Day Adventist Church in Canon Plaza, with a burial to follow at the Cañon Plaza Cemetery.
