Anthony - Age 42 - Chamita - Cordova

ANTHONY “NONIE” CORDOVA, 42, a resident of Chamita, went to be with our Lord on Friday, March 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony M. Cordova and brother, Danny Cordova; maternal grandparents, Rojelio and Carmel Lucero and paternal grandparents, Mariano and Adelaida Cordova. Mr. Cordova is survived by his children, Leian Cordova Romero, Kimberly, Tony and Daniel Cordova; grandchildren, Madyson and Payton Romero; mother, Ursula Cordova and Richard Salazar; sisters, Susie Cordova of Chamita and Carmen Garcia of Los Luceros; brothers, Floyd Cordova and wife Claudette of Española and Carl Cordova of Chamita and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. also at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the San Pedro Catholic Cemetery in Chamita with the following serving as pallbearers, Joshua Cordova, Jose Lopez, Jeremiah Cordova, Tony Cordova, Daniel Cordova and Audrey Sisneros. Honorary pallbearers named are, Christina Cordova, Jennifer Garcia, Ashley Vigil and Erica Garcia. The family of Anthony “Nonie” Cordova has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
