Anthony - 39 - Albuquerque Chacon

Anthony Chacon, 39, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his father, David Chacon; brother, David Thomas Chacon and sister, Cathy Chacon. Anthony loved all sports and enjoyed riding his Harley Davison soft tail special edition. He loved spending time with his sons, getting together with friends and was a wonderful person with a big heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Chacon is survived by his sons, David Anthony Chacon and Anthony Chacon; mother, Esther Chacon; brothers, Ricky Chacon and Horacio Chacon and wife Eleanor; sisters, Virginia Chacon and Debbie Hale and husband Delwin, and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with a burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Chacon, Horacio Chacon, Rudy Vialpando, Michael Gram, Danny Chavez, and Jacob Martinez. The family of Anthony Chacon has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
