Anna Brenton

Anna Lea Brenton, 74, of Pojoaque, NM passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022 following a short illness. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her death.

Born in Linton, Indiana on May 5, 1947, Anna was preceded in death by her son, David Nathan Brenton, her father Marvin Lee Dicus, and her mother Lettie Grace Dicus.

Anna was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and loyal friend. She and her husband, Charles Howard Brenton, shared a deep love and were true sweethearts for 58 years. The sparkle in her eye every time she looked at her husband, and the loving way she cared for him, will always be remembered. She had a beautiful smile and personal warmth that will be greatly missed.

Anna was a devoted and virtuous godly woman. She and Charles founded Faith Fellowship Church in Espanola, NM, as well as churches in Santa Fe, NM and Homer, AK. Anna’s deep faith gave her peace, strength and joy throughout her life. She was blessed with a strong community at their church and enjoyed many loving friendships.

Surviving are her husband Charles Howard Brenton, son Steven Lee Brenton (Lorie), daughter Candy Lynn Brenton, brother William Dale Dicus (Laurie), granddaughters Amanda Jean Bayles and Rebecca Lynn Brenton.

Anna loved to crochet, play cards, fish, and spend time with family and friends, and her beloved husband.
