Angel Kathleen - age 23 - Española Morfin

Angel Kathleen Morfin, 23, a resident of Espanola passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. Angel was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Seferino and Marcelina Serrano, grandfathers, Joe Jaramillo, and Fermin Morfin, paternal grandparents, Manuel and Selida Morfin, maternal great-grandparents, Saiz and Ermelinda Trujillo. Angel was born on May 7, 1991 in Española to Isaac F. Morfin and Gidget Garcia. Angel was full of life and she enjoyed being around her family and friends. She always had a smile that would light up any room, she loved being around children especially her nephew Joseph Manuel Morfin. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, and just being around her loved ones. She loved making people laugh even if it meant making fun of herself. Angel left a void in the hearts of her loved ones that only she could fill. “You will be greatly missed Angel”. Angel is survived by her father, Isaac Morfin and wife Kathy; mother, Gidget Garcia; sister, Ashley Morfin and boyfriend, Estevan DeVargas, brother, Isaac Morfin and girlfriend Adrianna Martinez; nephew, Joseph Manuel Morfin; half-brothers and sister, Jason, Daniel, and Esperanza Morfin; step-father, Amos Duran; step-brother and sister, Joshua Duran and Michelle Armijo and husband Jason; Grandmother, Annie Jaramillo and Joel Guerra, grand-parents, Bob and Nancy Martinez; aunts, Louise Martinez and Charles Marrufo, April and husband Erik Gallegos, Anna Jaramillo, Helen Morfin, Priscilla and Fidel Serrano, and Vanessa and Chris Martinez, uncles, James Garcia Jr, Vidal Martinez, and Steven Martinez; cousins, Desiray, Daisy, and Tiffany Sandoval, Darren and Jacob Vigil, Serenity Gallegos, Robert and Rudy Gomez, Amanda, Melissa and Fidel Jr. Serrano, Christopher, Miranda and Angelica Martinez, and Brandy Garcia, baby cousins, Amelia Padilla, Serenity Trujillo and Memari Roybal, and close cousin Edwina Romero. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola. Funeral service will be held on Monday June 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church, with a burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Espanola. The following will be serving the family as pallbearers Isaac Morfin, Joshua Duran, Darren Vigil, Jacob Vigil, Estevan DeVargas, Fabian Trujillo, Eric Sedillo, Desiray Martinez, and Robert Gomez.
