Angelina Roybal

Angelina Roybal, 88, was born January 28, 1928 in Nambe, New Mexico and passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016.  She was preceded in death by her husband Max Roybal, parents, Eva and Abel Montoya, siblings Juan Elizario and wife Isabel Montoya, Gilbert and wife Mary Montoya.  Angelina is survived by her four sons, Richard and wife Matilda Roybal of Middle San Pedro, Gary and wife Carol Roybal of La Cieneguilla, Steve Roybal and companion Loretta Montoya of Nambe, Cipriano Leonard Roybal and fiancé Lisa Candelaria of Albuquerque, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.  Angelina enjoyed having friends and relatives over to visit her and kept in close contact with them over the phone.  A rosary will be recited on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at 2:15 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family of Angelina Roybal has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
