Andy M. - Age 70 - Hernandez Vigil

Andy M. Vigil – Age 70 a resident of Hernandez passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 5, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beronize Vigil; sons: Nelson A. Vigil and Juanito Manzanares; daughter, Martina Vigil; sisters: Victoria Beard, Delfina Salazar and Maria Talamante; brother, Robert Gallegos; father and mother-in-law: Jose and Maria Manzanares. He was a local entrepreneur; Andy owned his own roofing business known as Andy’s Roofing and Andy’s Hydraulics, a well known man within the Española Valley for his low riders, classic cars and racecars. He had many hobbies that include Harley’s, restoration on classic cars, anything automotive and outdoor activities. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children: Artie Vigil and wife Barbara, Judith Trujillo and husband Duane, Anna Mae Fresquez and husband Lawrence, Cecilia Sandoval and husband Darren, Robert Vigil and companion Jan, Nina Vigil-Garcia and Andres Vigil; mother of his children, Mela Vigil; grandchildren: Matthew Vigil, Nicole Vigil, Shannon Vigil, Artie Vigil, Jr., Juanito Manzanares, Jr., Kenneth Trujillo, Vanessa Trujillo, Leon Trujillo, Ryan Fresquez, Isaac Fresquez, Amanda Archuleta, John Naranjo, Ashley Sandoval, Alysha Sandoval, Joseph Vigil, Brittney Vigil, Daylon Garcia and Ricardo Bustos; and many great-grandchildren; brother, Salomon Talamante and wife Corina; sisters: Renee Archuleta and Rosealie Maestas; best friend who was like a brother, Vicente Trujillo; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Andres Vigil, Artie Vigil, Jr., Juanito Manzanares, Jr., Kenneth Trujillo, Ryan Fresquez, John Naranjo, Joseph Vigil and Vicente Trujillo. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family of Andy M.
