Andrew Delfin Steve Moya, 52, a resident of El Rito passed on Monday, April 30, 2012. He was born on September 10, 1959. Andrew loved the outdoors, especially his horses and cruising the El Rito Canyons with his blue healer, “Baby.” He spent much time ranching and cutting wood. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, family BBQ’s, poker, organizing church parades, and carne seca and enjoyed all sports. Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Delfin Moya; brother, Aniceto Moya; grandparents: Ramon and Estefanita Moya, Jose Romolo and Ramoncita Martinez; brother-in-law, Carey Conlon; great-niece, Gabriella Baca; uncles: Ramon Moya, Ventura Romero; aunts: Consuelo Moya and Tila (Levi) Vigil. Andrew is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Moya, companion Lucille Serrano; sisters: Prescilla Pries (Bob), Millie Conlon, Ramona Moya, Lorraine Garcia (Ron), Audrey Jaramillo (Ted); 6 nieces; 6 nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; God-daughters: Ramoncita and Ashley Martinez and Cindy James; God-sons: Justin Moya, Chris Baca and Francisco Archuleta; God-father, Benny Romero; maternal aunts, Bennie Vigil (Ernie), Dorothy Ochoa (Henry), Eva and Joanne Martinez, Theresa Hathaway (Don); maternal uncles: Canuto Martinez (Lovie), Rudy Martinez (Yolanda), Phillip Martinez (Monique); paternal aunts: Claudine Romero; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito with burial to follow at El Rito Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Jeremy Jaramillo, Chris Baca, Justin Moya, Kameron Conlon, Mario Baca, Phillip Rodriguez, Leticia Garcia and Emmanuel Martinez. Honorary pallbearers: Lemuel Baldonado, Salomon Martinez, Justin Romero, Joseph and Jerry Vasquez, Nelson Morfin, Jr., Steve and Sam Gallegos, Kardy Martinez, Michael Garcia, Henry Lopez, Andy Terrazas and Kenny Jaramillo.
