Anastacio Gallegos

ANASTACIO GALLEGOS JR, 78, a life long resident of Arroyo de Agua, NM, passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday, March 21 2025. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Jenny Gallegos, parents, Anastacio Gallegos; Eva Gallegos grandparents, Venceslao and Rosita Velasquez; brother Alex and Joe Gallegos. Anastacio was a hard working man who loved his family and friends. He had a way of making people laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved Him. 

He is survived by his children; Arnold Gallegos (Destiny), Marilyn Montoya (Aaron), Matthew Gallegos (Stephanie) Cindy Gallegos, Joseph Gallegos (Haley). A special and close friend Brian Barela and Eddie Salazar Jr. Close sister Arcelia Valdez from Arroyo de Agua, sisters Leonilla Serrano, Maria Quarnberg, Fernando Gallegos all from Utah, and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 11:00 pm at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Coyote, New Mexico, followed by a Mass at 12:00 pm and burial to follow at the Coyote Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Abel Valdez, Danny Martinez, Eddie Salazar Jr., Brian Barela, Larry Martinez, and Freddie Jaramillo.
