She left her mark in her own special and humorous way in the lives and hearts she touched, in the things she did and in everything and everyone left in the wake of her footstep. Amy was the director of the Northern New Mexico College Library and gave her heart and soul to her work, co-workers and students. Amy loved her “Do-it Yourself” projects, gardening and continuity of always learning something new. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Northern New Mexico College in the Arts Center. The family of Amy D. Ortiz has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
