Amarante Archuleta

Amarante Ray Archuleta, 58, a resident of Medanales, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Martinez-Archuleta, father, Gabriel Archuleta; sister, Merlene Brewer, and brother, Tommy. Amarante loved to fish, he loved to cook and loved to talk on the phone with his family and friends. He loved to travel and loved spending time with all his family. Amarante is survived by his children, Chasity Sisneros, Tara Espinosa both of Alamosa CO,   Ryan Archuleta of California, Demi Maestas of Denver Co, and Amanda Archuleta of Hernandez; brothers and sisters, Rose, Erna, Rhonda and Roddy Martinez, Crucita and Michael DeHerrera, Andrew and Debra Archuleta, Jenny, Gloria, and Frank; grandchildren, Ebony and Ivin Chavez, Devyn Sisneros, Mya Espinosa, Nolan Bonney, Ashley Maestas, and Elias Maestas, and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Center Catholic Church in Center Colorado. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on  Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Center Catholic Church in Center Colorado.
