Amarante - Age 79 - Arroyo Seco Gonzales, Jr.

Amarante Gonzales, Jr. – Age 79 a resident of Arroyo Seco passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Laurie Sanchez and Desiree Villalobos and parents: Amarante and Petrita Gonzales. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator working for Richard Cook. He is survived by his daughter, Lina Sanchez of Arroyo Seco; son, Roy Gonzales of Arroyo Seco; 5 grandchildren: Sandra Gonzales, Shannon Sanchez, Roy Charles Gonzales, Christine Gonzales and Kevin Gonzales all of Española; sister, Chris Cloward of Utah; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. Funeral arrangements are pending. The family of Amarante Gonzales, Jr. has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
