AMARANTE J. TRUJILLO, 71, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Amarante Trujillo, Sr.; daughter, Tracy Trujillo; brothers and sisters, Bonafacio Trujillo, Sr., Tommie Martinez, Henry Trujillo, Sr. and infant sister, Rita Tomasita Trujillo; nephew, Gilbert Trujillo, Jr.; mother-in-law, Genoveva Garcia; brothers-in-law, Ruben Garcia and Modesto Johnny Garcia. Mr. Trujillo is survived by his wife, Gevei P. Trujillo; children, Johnny Trujillo, Jr. and wife Darlene, Melissa (Lisa) Trujillo and companion Martin Jimenez, Cynthia (Cindy) Trujillo, Harold Trujillo and wife Diane and Yvette Trujillo and companion Manuel Ortiz; mother, Isabel Trujillo; brothers and sister, Teresa Naranjo and husband Dennis, Gilbert Trujillo and wife Sally, Charlie Trujillo and wife Mary, Richard Trujillo and wife Josefita, Ruben Trujillo, Sr. and wife Lydia; sisters-in-law, Barbara Trujillo and Priscilla Rocha; brothers-in-law, Percy Martinez, Frank Garcia Sr. and family, Joe Ralph Garcia and family and Albert Garcia and family; close aunts by marriage, Baudilia Martinez and husband Gilbert and family and Mary Martinez and family; grandsons raised as sons, Francisco Trujillo and companion Isabel Rivera, Alexander Trujillo and Joseph Trujillo; grandchildren, Raymond Rodriguez, Vanessa Trujillo, Johnny Trujillo, Jr., Madalene Trujillo, Hope Trujillo, Harold Trujillo, Jr., Rosie Martinez and April Martinez; great-grandchildren, Savanna Rodriguez, Analysa Trujillo and Richie Trujillo, Jr. and numerous other loving relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A second rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 7:45 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at El Potrero Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Fran, Alex, Isaac, Johnny, Jr., and Anthony Trujillo and Darren Lewis.
