Alvinita R. Age - 94 - Velarde Gasca

Alvinita R. Gasca, 94, a resident of Velarde passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family following a sudden illness on Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Preciliano and Domitila Rendon; husband, Adolfo Gasca, Sr.; first husband, Sam Trujillo; children: David, Eddie, Ernie and Jesse Gasca; granddaughter, Yvonne Gasca; siblings: Eloisa Roybal and Joseph E. Roybal, Emilio Rendon and wife Reyes; brother-in-law: Robert Duran; special sister-in-law, Eliza Rivera; and many other in-laws. Alvinita is survived by her children: Adolfo Gasca, Jr. of Velarde, Dolores Trujillo of Santa Fe, Horace Gasca of Rio Chama, Jake Gasca and wife Josephine of Velarde, Charlie Gasca and wife Yolanda of Velarde, Pablino Gasca and wife Donnie of Florida, Annabelle Gasca and companion LeAnn of La Canova, Barney Gasca and companion Marlene of Santa Fe; siblings: Frances R. Duran of Velarde, Mabel Rendon of Española; special cousins: Flora Martinez, Grace Robledo and Marcy Valdez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde with burial to follow at Velarde Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be: Michael Rendon, Joseph “Jr” Roybal, Pres Rendon, Horace Gasca, Annabelle Gasca, John Romero, Pablino Gasca and J.P. Lyon; honorary pallbearers: Cassie Seaboy, Luke “My Boy” Romero, all grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family of Alvinita R.
