ALLEN R. PETTINGILL “BABY ALLEN”, 52, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Tuesday, July 04, 2017. Allen was preceded in death by his father, Allen S. Pettingill; maternal grandparents, Royal C. Elwess and Stella M. Elwess, paternal grandparents, Nelson Pettingill and Evelyn. Allen R Pettingill (Baby Al) was a very devoted, loving, caring husband, father, son , brother, uncle and friend. Allen most dearly loved Jenny and his children! Jenny-"Not only did I lose my husband and father of my children I lost my Best Friend I Love You Allen and you will forever be in my Heart" She loved him so dearly and will greatly miss him!

Lil Allen and Ashlyn loved their father so much they will greatly miss their dad! Allen loved them and worked hard for his family! Allen was a 3rd generation truck driver. He worked hard at a very young age. He bought his 1st truck at 17 yrs of age. He had over 35yrs of trucking under his belt. He began as a logger, went on to long hauling he worked hard and accomplished his goals by starting and being a very proud owner Pettingill Trucking! Allen was very passionate and good at what he did! He was a very kindhearted and caring man and was always willing to lend a helping hand! Allen was a big kid at heart always smiling, joking around and loved to make everyone laugh! He was loved by so many and Baby Allen loved and cared for each and everyone as well! Rest In Peace Allen you will greatly be missed! We Love You. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Pettingill; son, Allen D. Pettingill, his beautiful daughters, Ashlyn and Audrina Pettingill; mother, Lou Pettingill-Gonzalez (Jose); brothers, Stan Pettingill (Mary), Marty Pettingill (Marla), sister, Lisa Elwess (Randy); in-laws, Moises and Martha Gonzales; sisters-in-law, Sharon Crespo (Daniel), Pearl Gonzales, Janet Gonzales, brothers-in-law, Jeff Gonzales, Adolph Gonzales, Adrian Gonzales; nephews, Joshua, Steven, Colton, Darin, and Cristian; nieces, Jaylyn, Monique, Devonna, Bayli, Kayla, and Raelyn; uncles, Butch Elwess (Liz), Clydo Elwess (Jo), aunt, Linda Greenwood (Chip), plus numerous loving relatives, family and friends. Public visitation will begin on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM, with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial mass at 11:00a.m. A luncheon will be held immediately following the mass.
