Maestas, adopted sister, Angie Romero; Valdez step-children, Margie Zamora, Polly Sotello and Rosie Valdez; Medina step-children, Claudine Medina, Kathy Gonzales and Mary Ann Martinez, Donald and Mary Medina and numerous other relatives and friends. Alice was very lucky to have very close nieces and nephews and step-daughters who were there for her to take her to her doctor appointments, go run errands and to see that she was doing well; and since she did not have children she depended on them for being there for her when she needed them to help her out. Alice retired from Zia in Los Alamos and later she and Jimmy worked for Sombrillo Elementary as grandparents to the students. Alice was very fond of their pupils. A special thank you to Ambercare for their assistance, nephew, Rudy Maestas, Dominic Maestas, Mario Maestas; nieces, Divana Montoya, Karen Martinez, Louise Trujillo and Jovita Casillas. They were with her until the Lord came for her.
