Alfred - Age 48 - Peñasco Garcia

ALFRED GARCIA JR., 48, a resident of Peñasco, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo B.Garcia Sr.; maternal grandparents, Victoriano and Estefanita Gonzales; paternal grandparents, Francisco and Teresa Garcia; uncles, Eustaquio and Michael Gonzales; cousins, Vangie and Dale Gonzales and nephew, Aiden Montalvo. Alfred lived a very simple life. His whole life was his pride and joy, Chanelle. He enjoyed spending holidays with family and never forgot birthdays. Alfred made sure mom was always taken care of. Mr. Garcia is survived by his daughter, Chanelle Garcia of Peñasco; step-daughter, Erica Esquibel of Dixon; mother, Rose Garcia of Peñasco; brother, Johnny Garcia and wife Brenda of Rio Rancho, sister, Yolanda Esquibel and husband Joseph of Llano; brothers, David Gonzales and wife Loretta of Alcalde and Nathan Gonzales of Peñasco; God-son, Johnny Ray Garcia of Rio Rancho; God-daughters, Desiree Esquibel-Montalvo of Cordova and Dazlyn Gonzales of Peñasco, Nieces, Nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Church in Peñasco. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. also at the San Antonio de Padua Church in Peñasco. Honorary pallbearers named are, Johnny Garcia, David Gonzales, Nathan Gonzales, Tony Garcia, Joel Montalvo, Floyd Pacheco, Tim Lopez and Lucille Arguello.
