Alejandrino, first and foremost, loved his family with his whole heart and always put them before himself. He enjoyed making everyone laugh and always wanted all to be happy. Some of his greatest passions were praying his rosary every day, listening to KDCE radio, caring for the boys at the Santa Maria el Mirador, whom he held close to his heart and spending time with friends and family talking about the good ol’ days. Y le gustaba el pleito. His pride and joy was his 1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Other than his faith and loved ones, his greatest passion in life was pitching baseball. Anyone who played alongside, against or watched him play will tell you that Alex Gallegos was an NRGL legend, and he wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone, or pull-out newspaper clippings to back it up. He was as strong and tough a man you’d ever meet. He was also as caring and gentle a man you’d ever meet. Alejandrino will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace Gigante, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Nino, Uncle…
