Albert Lara Age - 77 Terrazas

Albert Lara Terrazas (Beto), 77, was called home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 to be reunited with his loving wife, Elsie who went to Heaven on April 1, 2012. Albert was born in Hatch, NM on April 1, 1936 and was a lifelong rancher who claims that he retired but never really did. Albert guided hunts and was an expert fisherman, hunter, tree farmer, sheep man and menudo maker. He was also known for his quality lambs that he enjoyed raising. But more than anything his passion was his family. He was known as “Gramps” by his grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Eulogio and Julia Terrazas; sister, Lupe. Albert is survived by his six beloved sons: Tito (Joann), Randy (Johanna), Mike, Neto (Shirley), Billy (Stella) and Pat (Cynthia); brothers: Jesus, Raul (Alicia), Amador (Gloria), Jose (Ramona), Daniel (Nancy); sisters: Nena (Gilbert), Elvira (Robert), Elpieia (Frank); along with his treasured 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, other loving family & friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos with the following serving as pallbearers: Robert Molina, Eddy and Rey Terrazas, Miguel and Bobby Sanchez and Ruben Pacheco.
